Mrs. Elva D. WHITTINGTON, widow of Will Tyre Whittington, who died 25 years ago died in Culver Hospital on Thursday afternoon last, after an illness of two weeks with pneumonia. Funeral services at the crawfordsville Baptist church on Saturday afternoon were in charge of Rev. BE Antrobus. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Whittington was the daughter of Joel and Mary McGRIGG DEERE, and was born at the old Deer homestead north of Waveland. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. George Manson and two brothers, John Deer of Alhambra, California and George of Crawfordsville. John Deer was called here by her serious illness and was present at the funeral, returing to his home on Sunday. the daughter, Mrs. Manson, is seriously ill in Culver Hospital - kbz
